April Guidry grew up on the Westbank in Marrero. She has spent the past 20 years raising her four daughters with her husband Clarence.
"Being a Council Member for District 8 is a honor and privilege. I hope to serve my community and its people to the best of my ability. Together, we can make a positive change for the people in Jefferson Parish. Volunteering and getting involved, two elements that make things happen. In the future, I hope to achieve: regular community meetings, a stronger parent committee, and improve the future for our elders and youngsters.”
