Miss Jr., Latesha Doucet to the leftMiss UHN, Amber Dardar to the right

Latesha Doucet is 15 years old and from Galliano. She is the daughter of Derek and Samantha Doucet. Her maternal grandparents are Whitney and Delores Dardar. Her paternal grandparents are Richard and Nivette Doucet.

Letesha is currently homeschooled and is in 9th grade. Her favorite school subjects are history and literature. Her hobbies consist of ballet and jazz dancing. She enjoys volunteering at the Elder's Festival and during Jazz festival at United Houma Nation's food booth.

Amber Dardar is 17 years old and from Houma. She is the daughter of Steven and Kim Dardar. She is a junior at Terrebonne High School. Amber currently maintains a 3.6 average and is a member of the National Honors Society. She is also on the school and local swimming teams.

Amber has been a member of the the Terrobonne choir for the last five years. She plans to attend college in order to become a psychologist/councelor.

Amber is a fancy shawl dancer who has been participating at different powwows for over 8 years. She is the former Calling of the Tribes Powwow princess.
