The National Institutes of Health is accepting applications from young adults ages 15 to 20 for its Media-Smart Youth: Eat, Think, and Be Active! ® (MSY) Teen Leaders Program<http://www.nichd.nih.gov/msy/teenleaders/Pages/default.aspx>. The MSY program includes 10 lessons with activities that explore media, nutrition, and physical activity, and concludes with a capstone project, the "Big Production"—a media product that youth participants create to encourage their peers to eat healthy and move more. Teen leaders carry out the program from start to finish. In return, they get leadership experience, community service hours, and recognition from the NIH, plus training and $1,000 for program expenses. Applications are due October 24.
