As we have done in the last 2 previous years, youth activities throughout the summer are currently being developed. Last year activities were jam packed and included day trips to tribal communities so that youth could visit one another's communities, volunteer in restoration projects, visit college campuses, etc. We also appreciated the generosity of the New Orleans Saints who opened their doors and allowed our youth a backdoor view and tour of the training facilities, attended practice followed by a meet and greet with players and gave the opportunity for about 40 of our youth to attend a live game in the Mercedes Benz Superdome. ..

On April 10, 2014 Ms. Lora Ann Chaisson, Job Developer, was acknowledged for 20 years of service to the Inter-Tribal Council of Lousiana. She was honored at the annual National Indian and Native American Training Conference in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. ..
