The United Houma Nation is currently seeking applications and resumes for a STOP Coordinator to work under the STOP Violence Grant. We are seeking a candidate to coordinate the daily activities of a tribal victims of domestic violence/sexual assault program. This individual is to serve as the point of contact for tribal victims and assist with accessing services and interaction with the criminal justice system. This individual must also coordinate with other community service providers to ensure culturally competent case management.
We are seeking someone with a minimum of an associates degree (bachelor's preferred) in a helping field such as social services, education, family and consumer sciences, etc. Three years of hands-on experience will be considered in lieu of an associates degree. Prior work experience working in domestic violence, law enforcement, victims rights or a related field is being sought.
