"Beetlejuice" Selected for Outdoor Movie During the October 25th Rougarou Fest

Posted by United Houma Nation on Monday, October 13, 2014

The votes are in!  Thank you to the people who took the time to vote for the Outdoor Movie in conjunction with the Rougarou Fest on Saturday, October 25th following the festival parade which begins at 7:00 pm.  The winner is "Beetlejuice" by a landslide.

The 1988 classic movie is directed by Tim Burton and stars Michael Keaton as the comedic ghost known as Beetlejuice.  The movie world has been anxiously awaiting the announcement of the release of "Beetlejuice 2", which is rumored to be directed by Tim Burton and starring original cast members Michael Keaton and Winona Ryder.

The United Houma Nation is honored and pleased to partner with the South Louisiana Wetland's Discovery Center and the Rougarou Fest.  We look forward to everyone coming out to fountain and tribal statue across from the Waterlife Museum beginning at 5pm to watch the Rougarou Run, parade and outdoor movie.  Also stick around and enjoy the haunted experience of Hurricane Z in the Waterlife Museum throughout the evening.
