    Earlier this week, the UHN Administration received notice that the Tribe was successful in its application to the US Department of Education's Rural Business Enterprise Grant Program.  The purpose of the grant is to provide "Starting A Business" classes and workshops for tribal citizens residing within the UHN Service Area to determine if they are ready to begin a small business.  The Service Area encompasses St. Mary, Terrebonne, Lafourche, Jefferson, Plaquemines and St. Bernard parishes. ..

    UHN Tribal Councilwoman Janie Luster was recently invited to take part in Chef John Folse's 13-part series "A Taste of Louisiana" PBS Nationally broadcasted cooking show.  Filming will take part in August at White Oak Plantation.  This season's episodes will focus on Chef Folse's new book "Hooks, Lies and Alibis" focused on fish and seafood dishes. ..
